My husbands maternal grandmother in NC was a Rogers and we attended a large Rogers family reunion about ten years ago! Are you familiar with John Rogers, b. 1507 I think, the Christian martyr put to death, burned at the stake by bloody mary for his work on translating the Bible into English and bringing it back to England?
